If you are looking for the most in-depth and hands-on concealed carry firearms training taught anywhere in Central Florida, you just found it. With our small class sizes, you aren’t just another number. We dedicate personal time to each and every student, and actually teach you how to shoot — out on an actual gun range, using live ammunition, shot at a real target. Unlike some classes that only require you to shoot one round (Florida's minimum requirement) we ask you to bring a box of 50 rounds so we can help you to really feel confident in your ability to hit your target. This class is the only class you’ll need to get your Concealed Weapon or Firearm License, and to get some hands on training with your chosen gun. Gun rentals available upon request: $20.

The total fee for this class is $150. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. The $100 balance is due the day of class. The NRA Range Safety Officer program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. NRA Range Safety Officers are people who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. We limit class size to 6 students so as to give each one personal attention. The class is conducted in a comfortable conference room setting and is 9 hours in length. You must bring your own lunch, although beverages and snacks will be provided.
NRA FIRST Steps Pistol is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type for classes of four or fewer students. This is a combination of our CCW and First Steps class designed for the new gun owner who needs their CCW license but has limited experience with pistol shooting. In addition to the CCW material we include range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.
This class revolves around a sampling of police qualification training drills from around the country. You will learn refinement of your grip and trigger control, sight alignment and sight picture, drawing from the holster, safely re-holstering, reloading, shooting from various positions and distances and utilizing cover. There is a final shooting competition that will test your skills. Ammunition required is 150 rounds.
Since Florida recently passed a constitutional carry law, one does not need a CCW to carry a concealed weapon. However, carrying a concealed weapon without the knowledge and skills to safely and effectively use that weapon could be disastrous should you ever need to use it. Our class is designed to help those who want to carry be proficient with their chosen weapon to be both safe and effective. This is a live fire course. You will need your gun, holster, spare magazine carrier, eye and ear protection and at least 100 round of ammunition.
